Secure Transactions

Zinet.gr protects your transactions and your personal data. All information you provide in order to complete your transaction is confidential. The contact details remain in the database of zinet.gr and are used only by X for the purpose of your information. In no case are they transferred or disclosed to third parties.

To ensure the security of payments, the website zinet.gr uses the secure payment service. This service follows Geotrust SSL (256bit) security protocol. The confidential data (the 16-digit number of the bank card as well as the expiration date and the Verification number) are sent directly encrypted to the bank’s server, without passing through physical means of the zinet.gr server

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol is currently the global standard on the Internet for certifying websites (web sites) to network users and for encrypting data between network users and web servers (web servers). An encrypted SSL communication requires that all information sent between a client and a server be encrypted by the sending software and decrypted by the receiving software, thus protecting personal information during its transfer. In addition, all information sent with the SSL protocol is protected by a mechanism that automatically detects whether the data has changed during the transfer.

All transactions you make on zinet.gr are governed by International and European Law, which regulates issues related to e-commerce as well as the Law on Consumer Protection (Law 2251/1994), which regulates issues related to distance sales.
